Lessons

 

Our lessons take place at Northwestern Stables in Philadelphia, PA under the instruction of coach Dana Epps. Located about 30 minutes away from Penn's campus, Northwestern has lesson horses for every level of rider, with large outdoor and indoor rings. 

 

Several lessons go out each week. The team will provide transportation either by using rental cars or by having team members with access to cars drive to lessons. Drivers are reimbursed for tolls and gas.

Lessons are offered both weekly and biweekly. Showing members are required to lesson weekly, especially the week before a show. One hour group lessons are $45 if you ride once a week or $40 if you ride twice a week. Lessons generally consist of 2 to 5 riders. The instruction is highly individualized and catered to the rider's needs and ability.
